Steve. I appreciate you being proactive on this. On the other hand, I would recommend members hold off on ordering t-shirts from Cafe Press just yet because I got a quote just yesterday for high quality screen printed shirts (as opposed to the digitally printed iron-on kind of thing you'll get at Cafe Press). They will be about $9.68 apiece plus tax for short sleeve shirts. They will be printed right here in Jacksonville, right around the corner from AIT, so there won't be any shipping charges either. The only hangup is that we have to order at least 24 shirts. I don't think that will be a problem unless people start ordering shirts from Cafe Press first.

I've just spoken to Steve, and he agrees that we should try to do the locally made shirts first. In order to make things easier, I will put together an order form and post it on here as a PDF in the next day or two. I will also print some out and give to Ted at AIT. We will have a deadline set for about a month from now, and we will need all orders sent in and paid for before we can get shirts made. If someone misses out on the order, they are welcome to order shirts from Cafe Press. Of course, I can't stop anybody from ordering from Cafe Press, but I'd like to encourage you all to order the shirts I am working on first. Rest assured, no one's going to be making any money on them except the screen printer. We will only charge you actual cost. I just need to get the minimum of 24 ordered, so your participation will be greatly appreciated. I do believe that the slight inconvenience of not ordeirng online will pay off in terms of quality and cost savings.

Meanwhile, if you want coffee mugs, mouse pads, etc, head on over to the Cafe Press store.

As I was driving up to the dinner last weekend, I was thinking that I could just get shirts made at CafePress or Zazzle.

You guys are "on" it... thanks!

1: My Michael Schumacher/Ferarri/Formula 1 mouse pad is coming apart, and I need a new one.

2: Those coffee mugs are actually really sharp.

3: We could put stickers on Saabs we see around town, instead of leaving business cards under the wiper.

Yeah, I would like to see a coffee mug with our logo on it. I don't drink coffee though, so I'll have to see someone else's.

We are "on it" we just weren't on the same page. :|

Steve's got printed vinyl stickers in the Cafe Press site. You guys might want to check those out and see if they look good or not. I wish they were on clear vinyl (or are they, Steve?).

If people want cut vinyl stickers a la Calvin peeing on Ford/Chevy/24/8, etc., I have a buddy who does them (See the front door at AIT and big Mike's race car for samples of his work), but my logo needs major editing before it can cut properly, which is why I haven't tackled that yet. If you just want the name of the club, though, that's easy.

Let me hear from you guys on this, but for now I'm concentrating on the T-shirts.

I'm ordering, no matter what, but I'm just curious:

Will the logo be on the front or the back? I only ask because I'm a 'fan' of the large logo being on the back, with a smaller version on the front left breast.

I'm ordering no matter what... this is one of those, "you can please some of the people all the time, etc." deals.

Thats a good question.... Scott will it be on the front or back and will that cover the pocket logo and the back logo?

Justin, these CafePress shirts fade really quickly... I ordered one for my youngest son. Save your money. (The coffee mugs are nice!)

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=233

Scott had shirts made locally in Jax... those are the nice ones. I ordered several, and had 3 left over. Blackbolt recently bought the Large. Subbu got the Medium.

And I will put the last one, which happens to be an Extra Large, in the mail to you! 8-)

We are now officially OUT of the first run of T-shirts.

I need a case for a BlackBerry Torch, not an iPhone. ;)

Banners and signs, woohoo!

And a blankie!! Might come in handy at the Rolex 24 next weekend! ($70 is a bit steep, though.)

Just a reminder that the club still has a cafe press shop up and available in case you need a new club t-shirt.
