New Member/ Saab Repairs & Service

Postby StrictlySaab » Fri Dec 24, 2010 1:54 pm

Hey guys, I registered on this site a while back but have been somewhat inactive just watching threads.

Wanted to let you all know I am in Melbourne, Florida own and operate Strictly Saab Inc. We started out as a mobile Saab repair but have become so busy with clients we no longer offer that service. (Unless its a simple battery replacement locally). Currently having a new website built to update the old, lacking, uncompleted site built a long while back. Offer Maptun performance tuning as well. Visited Saab and Maptun in Sweden back in April 2010 and was really impressed with the professionalism, tuning theory, and good humored guys who own and operate the place. We will also do installs and consulting on other upgrading tunes such as BSR, Nordic, SQR, etc. There are a lot of choices now for tuning. Products that Nick at Genuine Saab offer are excellent and we make purchases all the time of his parts. We stay away from the aftermarket made in China JUNK. There is a difference in using a genuine saab part or spending the extra 20 bucks and getting the real deal part.

Completely equipped with Saab Tech 2 updated to 2010, CanDi module, TIS2000, GM Security Access, special tools and many parts on the shelf ready to go.

As an online special we offer the black T-7 IDMs brand new in the Saab box for $255ea ground SHIPPED! All are most recent 3.7D 55559955 with production dates in mid 2010.

If you all need any Tech 2 programming, repairs or service please conact me at JustinDuthie@Hotmail.com or 321.432.2034.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas season!

Hi Justin:

Welcome. Sounds like you've got a good thing going. Having a Tech II is a real bonus. I'm sure members who are further south would find your service very worthwhile.

Hi Justin!

Welcome aboard... glad to have you, and your knowledge base, with us!

"IDM"... is that what I might call a DI Cassette? I really should get a spare sometime.

Yes, IDM is new(er) Saab lingo for Direct Ignition Cassette. Ignition Discharge Module is what its short for. Your 02 9-3 takes the black T-7 IDM, have a bunch on the shelf ready to ship.
