Has anyone heard how Ted is doing? Tried calling him last week and got voice mail only.

I talked to him on Saturday. He seemed ok on the phone, but I did not get into too much detail with him. He's got at least one thing he probably needs to let people know about, but I'll let him do that.

Wrote this up with alot of help to post on the club site:

It is with great sadness that I must report that AIT Swedish Performance will be shutting its doors. I will still be doing some side-work, primarily performance work, but not at the scale or location you are all familiar. Have no fear though, your Saabs will not be neglected. I will continue to manage the day-to-day operations at Franz's Foreign Cars, only about 1 mile from AIT's shop in Jacksonville. Saab Mastertech Chris Jockel will be joining me there.
Thank you,
Ted Miller

Thanks for letting everyone know, Ted. I am going to be very sorry to see AIT go, but I understand that it's for the best for your health, sanity, etc. AIT was not only a great little shop, but it was a cool place to hang. I wish it could have survived and grown. Still, I am glad you are still in command at Franz, and I will send everyone there from now on. I guess I'll be bringing my car in eventually too.

Specializing in car repair is becoming a luxury. For example, i love to fix classic 900's.... there aren't enough around anymore to keep a business going. Keeping
these cars on the road needs to be a hobby, making sure that the owners are able to afford it. I am sorry to hear ANOTHER specialty shop has gone the way of the
Dodo.
