Spring Turkey Run, Daytona Beach March 30th-1st

Postby StrictlySaab » Sun Mar 25, 2012 6:03 pm

Wondering if anyone is planning to attend the Spring Turkey Run in Daytona Beach this weekend. Dad and a bunch of his Mopar buddies are going to be there all weekend so will probably go up most likely on Saturday.

Heres the event website for more info: http://www.turkeyrun.com/Turkey_Run_Home.html

Have a great week everyone.

I didn't even know there was a spring event. I won't be able to attend, I will be in JAX swapping out motor mounts, fuel lines, welding up seat brackets, new front brake pads and whatever else I can get done on the track car.

Pretty good showing at the event, well worth the trip up/down/over etc. The fall Turkey Run is about twice as large as this turnout. This was the first year for the spring swap meet to be affiliated with the "Turkey Run" title, to help draw additional people to the event that would recognize the name.

Early Saturday morning went over to "Cars and Cafe" put on my the Orlando Automotive Club at the Route 46 Entertainment District in Sanford. They meet the last Saturday morning of the month at 9am. Tends to be much more a drivers meet, no "spectators" driving up in a Korean tin can to drool on the $175,000 Lambos and Porsches. Would recommend this as a good avenue to meet up as a club however it starts at 9am on a Saturday morning and only goes till 1130 or noon.
